Niamh Algar was born and raised in Ireland with her family members. She has four siblings. There are not so much information about her parents and siblings on internet.
Niamh studied design at the prestigious Dublin Institute of Technology. She subsequently attended Bow Street Academy in Dublin where graduated with a Programme of Screen Acting.

Career

Niamh is a famous Irish actress who began her journey from 2011. She discovered her passion for acting when she was in school. She used to patriciate in events and plays which helped her to find an interest in Perform & Arts. She’s been featured in TV shows like Reabhloid and The Savage Eye. She appeared in the iconic Vikings television series in 2015. She came into spotlight for Oliva’s character in Without Name.

In 2017, she portrayed an young free spirited and charismatic field assistant who falls victim to man suffering from a mental breakdown in Indie film ‘Without Name’.
In 2018 she was named as Screen International ‘Star of Tomorrow’ for her leading turn in the The Virtues, a new drama from This is England creator Shane Meadows. In 2019 she was awarded the BAFTA Breakthrough Brit.
She was cast in channel 4’s hit drama Pure as Amber before being announced as a regular in Ridley Scott’s sci-fi series Raised by Wolves for HBO Max.
