Rashad McCrorey is an African American Tour Operator and Social Activist. He is most known for being a pioneer of bringing African Americans to visit Sub Sahara African countries using social media.

Rashad McCrorey was born November 2nd, 1979 in Harlem, New York. Rashad’s real name is Rashad McCrorey. Rashad graduated from Drew University with a Master’s in Divinity and Baruch College with a Masters in Public Administration.
In 2015 Rashad raised money via GoFundMe to take his second trip to the African country of Ghana. With that money he raised for his trip he was able to network and eventually organized his first trip group trip to Ghana in February of 2017. In December of 2017 he organized his first trip to Egypt. And in 2019 began organizing trips to Kenya and Rwanda.
January 2020 Rashad began writing for Modern Ghana News becoming the first African American writer for the company.
March 2020 Rashad officially launched Medasse Ghana which is a program to give resources and entrepreneur skills to the country of Ghana as a thank you for opening up their country to members of the African Diaspora.
