Charlize Theron (born August 7, 1975 ) is a South African – American actress, producer and fashion model as well as Golden Globe / Oscar winner. She currently resides in Los Angeles. Charlize Theron was born on August 7, 1975 in Benoni in the then Transvaal province as the only child of Gerda Jacoba Aletta (née Maritz) and Charles Jacobus Theron.
