Mohammad Hashim Kamali (brought into the world 7 February 1944) is an Afghan Islamic researcher and previous educator of law at the International Islamic University of Malaysia. He trained Islamic law and law somewhere in the range of 1985 and 2004. He has been designated “the most broadly read living writer on Islamic law in the English language.”

Education

Kamali considered his BA at University of Kabul and finished his LLM. in near law from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a PhD in Islamic and Middle Eastern law at the University of London, 1969–1976.

Academic career

Mohammad Hashim Kamali filled in as Professor of Islamic law and law at the International Islamic University Malaysia, and furthermore as Dean of the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation (ISTAC) from 1985 to 2007.
